Yoga & Music heal my body and soul.
“Yoga allows me to surrender to all that’s been, to all that is and to all that’s to come.”
I studied Ballet from an early age and dance very quickly became my everything. Not surprisingly to my very supportive & understanding parents, I chose to pursue dance as a profession and aged 18 I was awarded a scholarship to attend The Northern Ballet School, gaining a National Diploma in Professional Dance. It was during this training that I was formally introduced to Yoga as a form of cross training and I immediately recognised the benefits that a regular yoga movement practice provided. Not long after, I became a devoted practitioner, continuing taught and self-practice yoga throughout my professional dance career as a Blue Bell at the world renowned Cabaret Lido de Paris.
After retiring from the stage, my calling was loud and clear. I found myself more often stepping off my movement mat to delve deeper into philosophy & scripture and this is really where my transformational journey began. As I opened my eyes to the traumas I’d buried and the fears I hadn’t faced, I continued to attend yoga workshops and advanced training courses with leading yoga teachers and practitioners around the world. After founding the studio House of Yoga Spain, it still took some time to find myself, my flow, my authenticity, my style & my vibe. I feel so incredibly grateful that this journey has offered me the opportunity to deeply explore my internal world alongside being able to fuse my passions of philosophy, mindfulness, movement & music. The most beautiful part of my teaching practice is the essence of community alongside the many dear friends I have made along the way.
Expect improvised flows, modern movement, laughter, tears, sweat & joy.
